iTrackr announced today that its application and technology has been reviewed by Dash Express, the first two-way Internet-connected GPS system delivering drivers traffic and destination information, as well as a range of other capabilities. Rob Currie, President and COO of Dash, said that “iTrackr is exactly the sort of timely and relevant service Dash Express GPS owners are looking for in their cars.” Since its launch in November, 2006, iTrackr has grown its social shopping and product search user base to more than 155,000. Now in Version 3.0, the iTrackr Platform includes a price comparison engine, automated price alerts and notifications of product availability at local retail destinations, and other value-added community-oriented services that consumers want. “Our focus at iTrackr is to bridge the gap between the retailer and the consumer,” commented CEO, John Rizzo. “We understand that consumers are more time constrained today than ever before and eliminating the hassle of traveling from store to store to compare prices and search for availability is important. In turn, we provide retail partners with an unprecedented reach to the consumer and ability to provide targeted, incentivized product offers to consumers that have already been qualified to be searching for products and services that they offer. This is the future of retailing. We are pleased to see validation from next generation technology and service providers such as Dash Express, of our platform and the value that we can provide to their customers.” "Since launching our dynamic API in May, we've been blown away by the creativity and passion of our customers and partners," said Rob Currrie, president and COO of Dash. "iTrackr is exactly the sort of timely and relevant service Dash Express GPS owners are looking for in their cars." To view the demo click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IJwvAVrRek
